A second version - I think that I prefer this one at the moment.

Very good indeed. Good control over the dark parts. Lovely color. Interesting picture. Do you print yourself?, because that might be a bit tricky with all the dark parts.

Thank you. Yes, I suspect that the printing could result in some unexpected results. I don't do my own printing but instead send them to a local photography shop where the make 20x30 inch photographic 'digi-dumps' where they print the file I send with no alterations to exposure or colour. Mostly they work out as expected but this one is more extreme so if anything is going to cause significant variation it is possibly going to happen here where there is variation within the dark sections - I suspect that the variation won't show up in the print. :-(
Just give it a try. Maybe the guys from the shop can advise on this one.

Oh yes, for certain I will be getting some prints made of these so it will be interesting to see how they turn out and what (if any) suggestions they have to make.

you should get a huge print made ... could be quite stunning ... huh, maybe .. but worth a go .... you need some prints for the "......" exhibition don't you?
:-) maybe you're right though from experience the biggest ones don't seem to sell to my audience :-(
I believe I prefer this one too... not only because of the color... but the wide cropping, which goes in opposite to the vertical lines... like you give only a glimpse of a larger view... you force me to imegin the rest picture, and it's a nice manipulation :)

Yes our imaginations add so much more to our experience of different things. That one of the things that disappoints me about seeing a movie after I have already read the book.
