No. I look every now and then and if any one asks for a photo to be shown in the group I allow that but that's about my limit at the moment!

I joined one group but it had no activity so I left. I then found another and joined that one-so far theyve featured a few of mine.

Ok, that sounds promising. Which group is that - or is it one where some of my photos have already been shown?

Hi Ilil
Thanks for your concern about us. It's been 'interesting'. All our family are ok and in good health.

We have been very lucky with only minor damage. A bit of liquification in the back yard and without water for 3 days (most pleased I kept a store in the garage for such an emergency). We now have water but it needs to be boiled so compared with others we are most fortunate. One acquaintance has died and one had a very lucky escape when her car was crushed - somehow, and pleasingly, she managed to survive. A couple of Israeli tourists were killed too. It's very sad to think that so many visitors to our city were caught up in this and that a number of them died.

Hope to start posting a few of my more abstracts in the near future when I start to feel 'normal'.

It's good to hear from you. Thank you for your interest and for thinking of us, it's most appreciated.

Fond regards
Greg

it's almost impossible to imagine how this kind of catastrophe can take place in such a peaceful place...
so sorry about the deads (the two Israelis among them) and all the damage...
hope you'll get over it, asap, and come back to be the most peacefull and wonderful place in the world!
thanks for your words - I worried :rose:
